Cheta and Lola, a struggling couple with a one-year-old child, seek refuge at Lola's mother's house after Cheta loses his job. Facing mistreatment, they spot an opportunity when cash is sprayed at Tade's introduction to Senator Taiwo. Desperation drives them to steal the money, setting them on a path of crime as the infamous “Owambe Thieves.”
