Our special guests for this edition are Sambisa Nzeribe and Tope Tedela. Chiedozie Nzeribe Siztus popularly known as SAMBASA is an Actor, Model and an Entertainer. He holds a degree in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos SAMBASA is an acronym of his philosophy about life ‘Surviving -And-Maintaining-Balance-Against-Societal-Aggression’, He has participated in many theatrical performances amongst which are Langbodo, The Duet, Idaoreh, Private Lies, Bandits & Beggars, No Penny for Mama, etc His breakthrough into Nollywood as an upcoming artist to look out for came in the Multiple Award Winning Movie ‘A Mile from Home’ nomination for Best Actor 2014 at BON in 2016, he won Best Supporting Actor at AMVCA for the movie “A soldier’s Story and Best Supporting Actor by organizers of the New York, United States-based Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA).
Tope Tedela is an Actor/ Voice-Over Artist and a Broadcaster. He holds a degree in Mass communication from the University of Lagos. He has been part of several performances like: Ola Rotimi’s Man Talk, Woman Talk and has since gained a lot of on-screen credit both for movies and TV series like James Omokwe’s multiple awarding winning ‘Awakening’, Moses Inwang’s awarding winning’Torn’, Jimi Odumosu’s Supernatural Thriller Film ‘In My Father’s House’, His excellent portrayal of Lala in the movie ‘A Mile From Home’ got him a Best Actor in a Drama Nomination at the 2nd Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2014. Best Actor in a Leading Role (English) at BON Awards  Most Promising Actor at Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards  to mention a few.
‘Slow Country’ is the latest movie from director, producer, screenwriter and editor, Eric Aghimien whose 2014 debut movie ‘A mile from home’ won awards in 2014 at both AMVCA and the 10th AMA awards, It’s a movie in a class of its own having charted a new course in the action genre in Nollywood, particularly with the quality of props and set designs, and even the use of imported firearms and ammunition. This carefully crafted action movie is a shift from the more popular comedies in Nollywood. “Slow Country” tells the story about a homeless teenage mother, armed with her desperate ‘mother instinct’ to provide a safe haven for her son got herself trapped in prostitution and drug trafficking. Trouble however erupts the moment she decides to turn a new leaf and quit. Alas, her boss, a ruthless human and a notorious drug lord won’t let her loose from his leash. This film is currently showing at Cinemas nationwide.
